“This hotel stands out for its unique location near the Royal Mile, housed in a former city asylum and now redesigned with bespoke mural artwork, in my opinion, that is worth the visit. The on-site French Bistro, coupled with an impressive wine selection and a dedicated Cigar Bothy, creates a memorable experience, as I imagine. Overall, a stylish and refined stay seems likely here, blending historical character with modern luxury.”

This place rocks. I enjoyed the super helpful reception staff. They were right on it and always ready with a smile. The location is unbeatable! It's only a few minutes walk from awesome places like Greyfriars Kirkyard and the National Museum.
The room got a bit stuffy and too warm overnight! The air conditioning seemed to work only on full blast. Plus, kitchen smells drifted into the room.

central locationefficient staffcareful handlingfriendly bartender
the location was perfect and central to everything i wanted to see. the staff was cute and efficient at every turn. our luggage was handled with great care before our next destination. the bar had a friendly bartender with helpful suggestions about local whiskies.
i found the road noise a bit intrusive because our room overlooked a busy street i would request a room overlooking the courtyard next time for a quieter stay
